ANGOLA HBCU EDUCATION DIPLOMACY  Conference Registration Information for HBCU Delegations

ANGOLA HBCU EDUCATION DIPLOMACY  hosted by ANGOLA HBCU EDUCATION DIPLOMACY  in collaboration with the government of Angola and VENANCIO de MOURA DIPLOMATIC ACADEMY, will take place in Luanda, Angola from June 15-22, 2026. This event, titled "Pioneering Progress: Leveraging Education, Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneurship for Transformative and Resilient Development," is an organized educational event designed to foster diplomacy and development, which could be highly relevant for HBCU delegations interested in international partnerships and initiatives.

Conference Overview and Dates

Event Title: "Pioneering Progress: Leveraging Education, Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneurship for Transformative and Resilient Development."

Host: ANGOLA HBCU EDUCATION DIPLOMACY , in partnership with the Angolan government and VENANCIO de MOURA DIPLOMATIC ACADEMY. 

Location: Luanda, Angola.

Overall Dates: June 15-22, 2026.

Pre conference Activities: These begin on June 15 with educational tours of historical sites like the slave and military museums, followed by a city tour of Luanda. A reception is scheduled for the evening of June 16.

General Conference Dates: June 17-21.

Post-Conference Tour: This includes educational and cultural visits outside Luanda, such as Miradouro da Lua and Kimbanguist Church, concluding on June 21st

Registration Details and Costs for HBCU Delegations

Registration costs cover receptions, general conference breaks, and lunches, with options tailored for professionals and students, including various durations of participation. Discounts may be available for shared accommodations

Group 1: General Conference ONLY (June 17-21)

  • Professionals: $ 650 (Registration:450, Ground Trans: $200 for airport and conference transfers).

  • Students: 300(Registration:100, Ground Trans: $200 for airport and conference transfers).

Group 2: Preconference (June 15-16) & General Conference (June 17-21)

  • Professionals:  $750(Registration:500, Ground Trans: $250 for airport and conference transfers).

  • 400(Registration:150, Ground Trans: $250 for airport and conference transfers).

Group 3: General Conference (June 17-21) & Post Conference (June 19-22)

  • Professionals: $850(Registration:550, Ground Trans: $300 for airport and conference transfers). 

  • Students:  500(Registration: 200, Ground Trans: $300 for airport and conference transfers).

Group 4: Full Conference (Pre conference June 15-17, General Conference June 17-21, Post Conference June 19-22)

  • Professionals: 950(Registration:600, Ground Trans: $350 for airport and conference transfers).

  • 550(Registration:200, Ground Trans: $350 for airport and conference transfers). 

  • Alternative Registration for Diplomatic Academy Guests (Onsite Accommodation)

For budget-conscious attendees, a limited number of rooms are available onsite at the Diplomatic Academy, which also serves as the conference venue. Faculty chaperoning students are encouraged to stay onsite.

Late Payment  $950.00 per delegate ( Covers daily lunch ,coffee breaks, ground transportation throughout the conference).

Accommodation and Travel

  • Conference attendees are encouraged to book reservations at the Intercontinental Hotel (approximately 393 per night)or the Marriott Protea Hotel (approximately. A limited number of rooms have been reserved under "ANGOLA HBCU EDUCATION DIPLOMACY  Conference 2026." Transportation will be provided daily from these two hotels to the general conference site. For those staying at the Diplomatic Academy, transportation will be provided for pre and post-conference tours .

  • Several airlines currently operate flights from the US to Luanda, Angola, including TAP Portugal, Lufthansa, Delta, Turkish Airlines, and United Airlines.
